Level Pathway

At CalMuse Foundation, our Level Pathway gives students a clear journey from their first notes to college preparation. Beginning as Explorers with basic skills, advancing as Adventurers with ensemble and technique, growing into Virtuosos with repertoire and artistry, and finally reaching Pre-College/Scholar level for auditions and leadership, each stage provides milestones and recognition so families can see real progress every step of the way.

Certification & Recognition

Students receive CalMuse Certificates, personalized with their name and level, as they progress through each stage.
Each certificate includes the student’s unique character illustration, making it a keepsake that celebrates not only skill mastery but also their dedication and growth.

Our Materials

Our curriculum was created by Alex Park, DMA, after more than 15 years of teaching, performing, and authoring numerous publications. Drawing on this experience, Dr. Park developed the CalMuse Method Book — a step-by-step system that combines solid technical training with inspiring repertoire. This unique approach ensures that students not only build strong foundations, but also grow as expressive and confident musicians.
